Technology in many cases is growing so
fast, including in communication’s tools. Accordingly, there are many kinds of
new gadget such as IPod, I Pad, and so on. Nowadays, everyone in the world,
especially in Indonesia, didn’t grow away from Blackberry. They are so attracted
with this smartphone. It proves by an event on a month ago when a lot of people
had acquiesce in a queue for 100 Blackberry products who have 50 % discount. Even
though Blackberry was introduced by a company in Canada, Research In Motion
(RIM) in 1997 for the first time and entered in Indonesia at the middle of
December 2004, many people have been falling in love with this product because its
features. Blackberry always connects to internet and provides Blackberry
Messenger that supports his/her jobs for a creative and active worker.
Blackberry makes us easily to get
much up-date information by connecting to internet. We know that as a creative
worker, we are demanded to have a lot of idea for our jobs. So that, we need a
lot of references and the internet is the place for that. We can browse with
the innate browser program everywhere. In addition, we are also facilitated by its
feature about push email. It is so helpful for us when we must send reports or
even files in document, excel, power point, PDF, and notepad form or pictures for
our manager or team members. For instance, as a writer, we can upload our master
piece immediately. We also can check and open our unread email from many accounts
e.g. from yahoo, Gmail and yahoo.co.id without any worried that they will be
mixed. Blackberry also has a capability of receiving emails up to thousands
without a risk of hang, as long as still enough memory.
Besides that, Blackberry provides
Blackberry Messenger as a free networking for the users. It is very useful to
help us for overspreading information that is should be known by every worker.
For example is a meeting invitation. This feature is so effective and
efficiency to cut down the time to print out and distribute the invitation. It
is called effective because we can get the goal and efficiency because we reach
it with the minimum cost. As a proverb, time is money. So that, we also can
save our money rather than we sent the invitation by using regular message.
On the other hand, some people said
that it needs a high monthly cost and our batteries get empty quickly or even
can make someone become an autistic person. As a smartphone, it is very common
that needs cost. Recently, there are many providers who serve a Blackberry package
in low price for monthly, weekly or daily. The batteries get empty quickly
because the quantity of using, not only for Blackberry but also the other
electronic tools. As an illustration, if we use a netbook in frequently, of
course, the batteries will get empty quickly. Furthermore, the Blackberry users
are considered an autistic person. But then, we shouldn’t generalize all of the
users. It is depended on self-attitude and as a smart worker; we will use this
smartphone in a smart way.
In short, it is untrue because we
can use Blackberry wisely for right purposes. After we knew many useful
features of Blackberry, do we still say no for that? If we are a creative and smart
worker, we will use this smartphone as the product of our creativity. The
result is we are not stirred by this thing because we will handle it. So, let’s
be a creative and active worker by using Blackberry.
